Sparkle, I think that happens to everyone. It\'s happened to me way too many times. Nice he have a really good personality, like super sweet or something? If so, good luck getting over him.... But for now, you just have to deal that you like him and he doesn\'t look so sweet...

I would say that is the WORST situation.  Every time I got near this one guy...there was this sexual tension between us that was so thick you could cut it with a knife...however...he was DEFINITELY not good-looking at ALL!!  I never understood it.  See...this guy was a creep as well as ugly...so it made my situation a little easier.  There\'s probably somethign that you find endearing about his looks...or maybe it\'s his body...who knows...if he\'s a nice guy, then there\'s really no problem with it.  I mean...I know looks is a factor, but maybe this guys is a great guy, give it a chance.  :)

Hello again!
I wasn\'t sure if the shallow comment was for me, but I will respond to it anyways.
I am glad that some people know where I am coming from on this, I thought I was the only one!  
However I know I am NOT shallow b/c I think shallow means the guy \"has\" to be hot to go out with him.  Like blond and buff.  Not me. You can be attracted to a guy that is not the stereotype \"hot guy\".  
You are right, though, and it never occured to me till now that I do find something endearing about his looks, just the whole package is...well, you know.  And he is a unique looking guy.  Those types usually aren\'t \"hot\" but new and interesting, not run-of-the-mill which can get boring.  He wears make up and stuff.  Not for everyone I guess, but I like it!!  :)

hhmm!
attraction and repulsion are COMPLETE opposites..  black and white..  yin and yang..  man and woman..  
HOWEVER...  
there is more than ONE thing that you can like about a person..  for example, as shallow as it may sound, a guy has a GREAT personlity but is dog ugly..  
the best question to ask is NOT what you like about them, but what you DISLIKE about them... if you answer nothing, you must like them..

Hey!  
Well my question is, and take me seriously--Can you be attracted to AND repulsed by the same person?
I like this guy that I see around all the time and I feel a lot of sexual attraction to him, but I also think he is, well, not so great looking.  I saw him the other day and I was thinking WHY do I like HIM???!! But I do. Please help, I need help to sort out my feelings. I don\'t want to ask him out to just be torn over the fact I am attracted/repulsed at the SAME TIME!!!!

How did you handle it?  Does it get better and how does it happen in the first place!!!!!!!
I have a huge crush on him but when I look at him I get all skeeved out!   :(
