How can I get my daughter to forgive me?

I have a 15 year old daughter.
Me and her mother are divorced.
She used to live with me.
Ever since her mother and I spilt up 2 years ago she lived with me and she had been a real piece of work
She did drugs, drunk alcohol, got bad grades cussing at me all the time all the time.
Well about 2 weeks ago she found out that she was pregnant and she told me and just blew upin her face.
i was screaming and yelling at her and she shoved me and out of anger I backhanded her across the mouth. And started hitting her across the thighs with my belt. It was like I was possessed but with everything that she has put me through I just snapped. I finally stopped hitting her after what seemed like 10 minutes and she was sobbing on the ground. She was wearing shorts and her legs were all bruised/red.
She rang up her mother who came and picked her up. She also phoned the police and I was forced to spend a few days in a cell before I was bailed out. I am now awaiting a court hearing.

Anyway this happened about 2.5 weeks ago.She has moved out of my house and now lives with her mother.
She refuses to speak to me, see me. According to her I am no longer her father.
How can I get her to forgive me.
What should I do?
This is a true story, I'm not a troll so please help.

For teenagers who are products of broken families, the rebellious act is almost always the consequence. Just show your daughter that you are sorry for what you did and make up to her by trying to be a good Dad to her.

i guess you dont have to say sorry for your daughter, you have done nothing wrong. As for her situation now, she's just been so affected with her friends doing. Why not let her stay with her mom for a months, maybe she just miss her mom so much.

I don't think she can forgive you now because the memory is still fresh. You have to take sometime to heal the wounded feeling before you can ask her forgiveness.
