This is a poem i just sat down and wrote... It\'s not anywhere near finished, and doesn\'t even make sense, really. More just a random string of thoughts, that i\'ll go back and finish later. But any comments or feedback would be welcome...

Like a sea,
your love for me ebbs and flows
my heart is the sand
that you pull away in your grip
piece by piece, it washes away
towards the dark abyss of your soul
where slimy, stealthy creatures lurk
ready to shoot, at any moment,
towards the surface
leaving behind only bloddy red waters
to fade with time
