What Do You Think?
« on: August 08, 2006, 11:52:00 am »
Hey all remember me?? Well I have been incredibly busy lately... here is one of my latest poems read it and tell me what you think of it!!  Thanx :-)

What Do You Think

Do you think I’m just hiding
The tears in my eyes and covering the
Frowns that want to penetrate with fake
Smiles and fake feelings of security?
Do you think I’m really hurting inside?
But I don’t want you or
Anyone else to know?
Isn’t it funny how we all seem to hide our feelings
With something else?
What are we hiding from?
What? Are we afraid of crying?
Afraid it’ll only make us feel weaker,
When holding it in only makes it worse.
Do you think I’m going nuts?
It’s ripping apart my insides with the

Words they throw at me?
Isn’t it funny how those cruel
Words that are thrown at me so often,
So harshly always seem to bring me to her.
I run to her crying and she always knows
How to dry the tears that flow so often
Isn’t it funny how deeply I feel in love with her,
hid it, told it, and then how my heart got
broken with two simple letters that are together
in the alphabet
Isn’t it funny how I still love her dearly?
Why do I do this to myself so often?
Why do I question my fate so much?
What is fate?
Is it you? is it her? Is it heartbreak after heartbreak?
What is fate? Do I care?

I’m just going through life barely cracking a smile each
day.
Wondering why does she do this to me?
She thinks its harmless, it’s really not
Isn’t it funny how I always seem to have it together
But really the pieces are scattered more and more
And some of the pieces are lost forever!
Do you think it’s about time
I got to know just exactly
What it is I am feeling?

What do you think?
