Single Men - Why Are You Still Single?

I\'m still single because I don\'t have a lot of time to meet poeple (2 jobs, returning to school part-time in February) and I have a LOT of work to do on me.
The last time I went into a \"Why can\'t I get a date\" funk, I realized that like attracts like. Frankly, I wouldn\'t date me as I am right now.

Why am I still single?  I know where I live these women(most of them anyway) don\'t really care about treating a man right.  They want a man to pay all their bills and stuff.  I\'ve got my own bills & rent,  and I ain\'t in no shape to pay mine & theirs too.  Besides I\'m not just gonna jump into a relationship just to say I have a woman.  I\'ve got my own problems to work out.

I give a high 5 to that one! Ran across those who judge on the type of car one drives too. if they want money, need to get a better job! LOL

I swear, get so tired of hearing women talking trash about the lack of good men out there, when in reality, there are a LARGE number of \"TOUCHED\" women out there like Teelah and Rain, but they would never admit to themselves what Giordana had the guts to say, MUCH LESS openly admit it.

Me personally, before I met my lady, I was similiar to Giordana. \"MESSED UP\" and didn\'t know it. It was somewhat depressing, yet empowering at the same time to acknowledge all of my numerous flaws, and then begin to work on them.
I guess TECHNICALLY, I am still \"SINGLE\" if you mean in terms of not being married.  But I am not single, since I have long since been \"OFF THE MARKET\".

I\'m still single because it just seems that alot of GOOD people I know that are married are giving up on it; so something MUST be wrong with the institution-and not the people.  It also seems like alot of people are doing it for the sake of convenience; not for love.  I realize that it may work for me if I find somebody compatible; but our compatibility may change once we change our relationship from a voluntary to a \"legal\" one.  I\'ve heard PLENTY of horror stories of how people(men and women) change once they marry; and I aint  tryin\' to have dat!  Naw; I like it JUST THE WAY IT IS.

Some men that are still single are those men who are very choosy when it comes to their partner. Some are looking for a perfect one, well educated, social, wealthy, sexy and beautiful.
